Just to make it clear, I’m the freelance writer and editor one. Yes, I’ve done the Dave Gorman-style search for other people with my name, and found just one other: an Australian farmer renowned for growing a new kind of feed crop. My sole knowledge of feed crops was learnt then and there, so if you’re after that kind of info, you’ve got the wrong Alison.

I’m a health columnist, article writer and fiction writer. Mostly I write under my own name, but sometimes I’m the ghost-writer. Writing with a sheet over your head is harder than it sounds, believe me. When I’m not writing or editing, I’m introducing small children to the joys of literacy in the Early Years setting where they let me work part-time to preserve my sanity. You’ll notice I don’t farm anything (unless you count my vegetable beds – and if you could see them, you wouldn’t).

If you would like me to write, edit or proofread for you, then click on the ‘Contact me’ tab and we can discuss what you have in mind. Click on the ‘Testimonials’ tab to see what some of my clients have said. If you’re just here to read my ramblings, then head over to my blog.

If you came here looking for my equality and diversity website, Everyone Equal Always, I’m afraid you’re in the wrong place. Click on the link to be magically transported there.
